Artist Bio

Hi, I’m Felicia.
I’m a self-taught abstract media artist, and I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember — even back in my school days at Ursuline Academy and Dominican College. While I’ve spent the past 40 years working as an insurance agent, art has always been part of me.
In the late ’70s, I ran a small business making personalized stationery and children’s calling cards. That was one of my first steps into the creative world. Years later, during the pandemic, a close friend reintroduced me to painting, and I’ve been immersed in it ever since.
Most evenings, you’ll find me in my studio behind our home in Old Metairie, working with color, texture, and whatever materials speak to me that day. When I’m not there — or at our place in Florida — I’m with my husband Bob, our three children, and six grandchildren. They keep life full and joyful.
Art gives me space to reflect, explore, and stay curious. I’m grateful to be doing what I love, and even more grateful to share it.
